This backyard getaway has a terraced feel that includes a sunken pool. We designed this pool and living space to be one foot below the original backyard patio. The curved retaining wall wrapped around this pool features a private, comfortable feel, which includes an area for the hot tub and outdoor pergola. This project was also designed for optimum exposure to the sun and maximized usable space by incorporating the pool coping to give a seamless feel.
